Die Altrocker von Aerosmith wollen es noch einmal wissen. Sie haben mit der Arbeit an einem neuen Studio Album begonnen. Aerosmith veröffentlichten zuletzt 2004 das Cover Album ‚Honkin‘. Das letzte neue Material ist von 2001 (‚Just push play‘).
Die Arbeiten werden durch die Südamerika- und Japantour unterbrochen. Das Album soll im Mai 2012 erscheinen.
Producer Jack Douglas dazu:
“The new album should be out around May 2012. I know that’s a long wait, but after the South American tour and Japan in October, November and December, we will get back to work on it in mid-January. For those who are asking, this album will be raw, nasty, tough rock with a good deal of the old Aerosmith ‘tongue in cheek’.”
